As a young law student of 26, Anna Mee Allerslev accepted the post as Deputy Mayor of Employment and Integration for the Social-Liberal Party (B) earlier this year, taking over from former deputy mayor Klaus Bondam. She had previously caused a sensation during the election campaign when a YouTube video appeared in which a young female supporter stripped down to her underwear, allegedly to spice up the dull image of local politics and to present Anna Mee Allerslev’s campaign slogan – ‘a more beautiful, healthy and fun Copenhagen’ – in a visually pleasing way.
